The Contract 

The only terms and conditions of contract between GPE Scientific Ltd (‘The Seller’) and the Purchaser (‘The Buyer’) shall be those set out below unless other terms are expressly accepted in writing by an authorised employee of the Seller.
 

Ordering

2.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

2.2 We may refuse to accept an order: (a) Where goods are not available; (b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; or (c) If there has been a pricing or product description error.
 
2.3 If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you and inform you of the expected shipment date. Estimated delivery dates are given on product pages.
 

Pricing

3.1 All prices shown are in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated and are net ex works, exclusive of VAT.
 
3.2 The Seller reserves the right to change goods prices online at any time.
 
3.3 Price is only confirmed once order is accepted and payment has been taken.
 
3.4Carriage shall be paid for by the Buyer.
 

Specifications Measurements and Illustrations

4.1 All statements descriptions and/or illustrations are for the purpose of information and guidance only. They are subject to alteration without notice.
 
4.2 Any description given or applied to the Goods is given by way of identification only and the use of such description shall not constitute a sale by description. For the avoidance of doubt, the Buyer hereby affirms that it does not in any way rely on any description when entering into the contract.
 

Delivery

5.1 We will despatch all goods by the most cost effective method of transport unless otherwise specified by the customer.
 
5.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery of the Goods shall take place at the address specified by the Buyer upon checkout. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery .
 
5.3 The date of delivery specified by the Seller is an estimate only.
 
5.4 The Buyer shall be entitled to replacement Goods where the Goods have been damaged during transportation. The Buyer must notify the Seller of the damage within 24 hours of delivery and retain all packaging and documentation.
 
5.5 The E-commerce functionality of the website only allows for delivery to be made within the UK and Ireland. GPE Scientific ships worldwide so please contact us directly for a quotation if you are outside these areas.
 

Return of Goods

Return of correctly supplied goods cannot be accepted unless prior agreement has been made and then the Seller reserves the right to make a handling charge. An ISO returns number must be requested from the Seller before returns are made. No responsibility will be accepted for returned items which are damaged in transit.
 

Return of Hazardous Goods

The Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that Goods returned are free from biological, chemical and radioactive hazard. The Seller reserves the right to refuse to accept Goods which present a hazard or which might infringe the Health and Safety at work act or which are without a signed certificate that effective disinfection and/or de-contamination has been carried out.
