FILTER FUNNEL, DISPOSABLE, POLYETHYLENE FRIT, 2L FUNNEL, BARREL SHAPED

2L disposable barrel shaped filter funnel for solid-liquid separation can be used in chemistry and biological laboratories. The polypropylene filter funnel with a medium porosity, 20 micron, polyethylene fritted disc is used with a CG-1049-M style glass vacuum adapter, and a flask. The CG-1049-M glass vacuum adapter is designed to prevent the filtrates from being sucked into the vacuum line.  The disposable filter funnels have a 70mm long stem so that the glass vacuum adapter is not contaminated during the filtration process. Funnel is available with optional lid that can be connected to a nitrogen source. U.S. Patent # 8978897.
