Adapters simplify the transfer of powders/solids from flasks into vials. PTFE adapters have a knurled gripping ring at the top to facilitate removal of the adapter from the flask joint. Adapters are available to accommodate sample vials (GPI threads) and scintillation vials (22mm threads).
- Allows transfer of samples without exposure to air or moisture.
- Tapered interior of adapter prevents hold up.
- Reduces steps by transferring directly to a vial, no other tools are needed.
Directions: Screw vial into the top of the transfer adapter. Insert other end of adapter into flask joint. Invert assembly and gently tap vial on a soft surface to transfer contents from flask into the vial.
