Air driven stirrer for use whenever the use of an electrical stirrer might be hazardous or impractical. Ideal for mixing all types of solvents, lacquers and volatile chemicals without the possibility of spark ignition. Motor delivers up to 3/8 Hp, 50 in-lbs of torque, and 333 MAX RPM @ 80 PSI. A needle valve controls the mixing speed. Motor shaft size is 1/2” OD. Supplied complete with 4ft lenth of air hose with double fittings for connection to air supply.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR LONG AND TROUBLE-FREE LIFE OF YOUR AIR POWERED STIRRER, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE AIR SUPPLY BE FILTERED TO REMOVE OIL AND WATER AEROSOLS AS WELL AS FOREIGN PARTICLES LARGER THAN 40 MICRONS. IN ADDITION, AN AUTOMATIC AIR LINE LUBRICATOR MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE AIR LINE JUST AHEAD OF THE MOTOR. FOR THESE ITEMS SEE CG-2025-10.

Chemstir 24 volt Brushless DC motor features high torque, compact size, and no maintenance. Brushless gear-motor is for use with 10L thru 100L process reactors. Must be used in conjunction with a CG-2033-B-50 digital display controller. The motor faceplate bolt pattern mounts directly to Chemglass CG-1965-X and CG-1968-X style reactor support frames.
Chemstir Digital controller for use with CG-2033-B-25 brushless DC electric motors. Controller features a mini USB port and an RS232 port for control or data logging of RPM and torque. USB or RS-232 port allows the motor to be used with optional RxnHub Reaction controller and software package for reactor automation. A large RED LED digital readout for viewing either RPM or torque. The 3 turn dial permits control to 1 RPM. Controller is equipped with closed feedback circuitry which continually monitors the shaft rotation speed to maintain precise RPM control even with viscosity changes and the motor is reversible.
Software allows motor and controller to be connected to a PC for speed control and data logging. End user can monitor and graphically see torque trends and RPM.
