Arnold 1060 Series Benchtop Lathes

The precision machines for a versatile and demanding application—for instance, for joining electrodes, producing bulbs from quartz, making glass-metal seals, and generally for streamlining many operations when working with glass and quartz.

Operating panel:
The operating panel has the following facilities:

• Main switch

• Emergency switch OFF

• Push-button turning direction right – ON

• Push-button turning direction left – ON

• Switch for brake ON/OFF

• Switch for clutch ON/OFF

• Switch for foot pedal ON/OFF

• Potentiometer for spindle speed

• Plug for foot switch (foot switch as option, see Cat.-No.: 1060/7)

Base frame:

The machine base frame consists of stable aluminium profile struts with a solid aluminium tabletop. The machine bed is mounted and aligned on the aluminium tabletop. On the right side, the frame has a tool cabinet with 3 drawers. Furthermore, it is equipped with adjusting screws for alignment.

Standard drive:
Steplessly variable D.C. motor for connection to 230 volts A.C., single phase, 50 cycles (other voltages upon request)

Option:
As standard, the machine is equipped with ring clamping chucks. However, on request, other clamping units can be used. In addition, the machine can be equipped with automatic drives, burner gas supply, and forming devices, up to fully automatic control via industrial PC (Arnold Easy Panel System – AEPS).
